How Fauxto Labs uses cookies and similar technologies.
Effective: September 1, 2025
We use cookies and similar tech to run our AI creative platform, keep it secure, remember your preferences, and understand how people use it. This notice explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.
TL;DR — Essential cookies run to provide the service; all other categories are opt-in in the EU/UK and opt-out where US state laws require. You can change your choices any time in cookie preferences.
Cookies: Small text files placed on your device by your browser.
Local / Session Storage: Key-value storage used by our app (e.g., UI state, generation history).
SDKs & pixels: Code or tiny images that measure interactions (e.g., Google Analytics).
Device identifiers: Mobile app IDs used for analytics or notifications.
We treat all of these as “cookies” in this document.
Strictly necessary
Required to sign in, route traffic, prevent abuse, and honor your privacy choices. Can’t be switched off.
Functional
Remember preferences and improve features (e.g., theme, last-used model, generation settings).
Performance / analytics
Help us understand usage and improve reliability (aggregate, de-identified where possible).
Advertising / marketing
Only if enabled; used for measuring campaigns or interest-based ads. Off by default.
Preferences center: Manage non-essential categories at cookie preferences.
Browser controls: Most browsers let you block/delete cookies; the service may not work without necessary cookies.
Email pixels: Disable images in your email client to block pixels.
Global Privacy Control: Where required by law, we treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of "sale/share" for cross-context advertising.
Do Not Track: Not responded to except where law requires.
EU/UK: Non-essential cookies set only with your consent. Essential cookies rely on legitimate interests.
US (CPRA): We do not sell personal information. If we ever “share” data for cross-context advertising, we'll provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link and honor opt-outs and GPC.
Some items are set only on specific pages or during checkout/auth.

Local Storage keys for session UX (dismissed tutorials, onboarding state, tool preferences).
Session Storage for temporary workflow data (timeline editors, purchase intents, voice cache).
Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time generation status updates.
In-app telemetry for error/crash reporting and AI generation latency (aggregate).
Browser guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Mobile: iOS/Android provide ad/ID resets and tracking controls in system settings.
Blocking all cookies may break sign-in, checkout, AI generation features, and model preferences.
Cookie-derived analytics are kept for 13–24 months unless you withdraw consent sooner. Security logs persist 30–90 days. Consent records are retained 2 years to demonstrate compliance. AI generation history and model preferences follow your account settings.
If we materially change cookies or vendors (e.g., adding new AI analytics or advertising partners), we'll update this page and (where required) ask for your consent again.
