How do I change resolution and aspect ratio?
Both live behind the gear icon in the prompt card. Available options depend on the model you have selected.
Where the controls are
Click the gear icon in the prompt card. Aspect ratio, resolution, output count and duration all live there, and the credit cost on the generate button updates live as you change them.
Aspect ratios
Images offer 11 ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, 21:9, 9:21, 2:1 and 1:2. Video offers 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1, 2:3, 3:4, 9:16 and 9:21. Support varies by model and the selector only shows what your current model allows — so if the ratio you want is missing, switch models.
Use 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and 1:1 for feed posts. Generating in the right ratio from the start looks better than cropping afterwards.
Resolution changes the price
On images, Nano Banana models expose 1K, 2K and 4K, and GPT Image models expose Low, Medium and High. Both change the credit cost — Nano Banana 2 is 10, 15 or 20 credits respectively. On video, higher resolutions cost more per second; WAN 2.6 is 12 credits per second at 720p and 18 at 1080p.
Changing them after the fact
You do not have to regenerate. Upscale increases resolution 2x or 4x for 5 credits on an image or 55 on a video, and Reframe extends the edges of an existing image or video into a new aspect ratio for 6 or 55 credits — which keeps your content instead of cropping it.
