How do I permanently delete my account?
Account deletion is available in your account settings. It is permanent, removes your generations, and forfeits any remaining credits.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Your generations, Library, Projects and any remaining credit balance are all forfeited.
- 1Download anything you want to keep first — bulk download from your Library handles up to 200 items at a time.
- 2Cancel any active subscription so you are not billed again.
- 3Open account settings and use the delete account option.
- 4Confirm. This is the point of no return.
Consider the alternatives
- Just want to stop being charged? Cancel your subscription instead. Your account and work stay put, and you can still buy top-ups.
- Just want fewer emails? Adjust your notification settings.
- Just want your data removed? Submit a privacy request, which may cover what you need without losing the account.
Deleting and re-registering does not produce a second set of welcome credits. Those are issued once per person, and re-signups are detected.
