Who owns my generations, and can I use them commercially?
You own your prompts, uploads and outputs, and you can use them commercially. You are responsible for making sure the underlying content is yours to use.
You own your user content — your prompts, your uploads, your voice samples and the outputs you generate. You can use them commercially: in marketing, in products, for clients, on social media.
What we get
You grant Fauxto Labs a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable licence to host, process and transmit your content solely in order to operate the service — running generation jobs, storing results, safety checks, support and backups. That is the extent of it.
What you are responsible for
Owning the output does not mean the inputs were yours to use. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload and for how you use what you generate. In particular:
- Uploading a photo of a person requires documented written consent from that person
- Generating something recognisably based on a copyrighted character, brand or trademark can still infringe, regardless of who owns the output file
- Advertising and platform rules in your jurisdiction still apply, including any AI disclosure requirements
Outputs are provided as is, without warranties. AI can be wrong or biased. Do not rely on outputs for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical purposes.
